My name is Rebekah Ryan and I call South Australia my home. I grew up in Sydney but have been lucky enough to have travelled throughout Australia and overseas.

My journey into photography began quite innocently with a few great photos of landscapes in my early 20s, but life took me in a different direction until in 2013, when I started modelling, it wasn’t long before I found myself behind the camera again with my passion reignited once more. I have a strong history in the arts from dance as a child to a performer as an adult. Regardless of what life has thrown at me I always come back to art. I love all types of photography from portraits to landscapes, but I particularly love live performance photography.

My camera of choice is the Canon 6D, due to its low light capabilities and being that I love shooting live productions having come from a performance background. It is rare you can use flash during any performance. I love playing with light and shadow whether that be through natural light or stage lights. I always look for the highest quality of images possible. I’m always willing to collaborate with others to create new works with different styles.
